Pharmacological properties
The effect of the drug holosas is associated with the influence of a complex of components that make up rose hips, including vitamins B1, B2, C, E, K, PP, provitamin A, sugar 14–16%, malic and citric acids, flavonoids , pectins - 25%, essential oils, dextrin, vanillin, lecithin, salts k, ca, fe, mg.
Holosas increases the functional capacity of the liver, increases the secretion of bile, increases the content of cholates in bile, and reduces the viscosity of bile. The choleretic effect of the drug is due to the content of flavonoids. Rosehip extract in Holosas also has an effect on other functions of the body - it normalizes and stimulates the secretion of gastric glands, increases the enzymatic activity of gastric juice, and enhances intestinal motility during atony. It also promotes anti-inflammatory effects due to the content of ascorbic acid (vitamin C).
Due to the presence of organic acids and pectins in rose hips, Holosas has a diuretic effect.
Organic acids (malic, citric) stimulate the activity of the salivary glands, affect the secretion of bile and pancreatic juice, improve appetite and digestion, and help reduce putrefactive processes in the body.
Ascorbic acid from rosehip extract has an anti-sclerotic and anti-inflammatory effect, activates enzyme systems and redox processes in the body, has a positive effect on carbohydrate metabolism and enhances tissue regeneration, increases the body's resistance to adverse environmental factors.
Holosas: composition
The drug Holosas is a syrup. The color of the substance is close to dark brown. The liquid has a specific smell. The product belongs to the category of choleretic, non-synthetic, plant origin.
The main active ingredient is rosehip extract. The acidity of the component does not exceed 2.5% if malic acid is used as a measure. The extract makes up 40% of the total mass of the syrup. Sugars are used as a flavor enhancer, the volume of which is 600g for every 1000g of syrup.
Holosas is created on the basis of rosehip extract. The fruits of the plant have a large amount of vitamin P - flavonoids, which are a natural choleretic agent. It is thanks to this that Holosas is active in relation to the functioning of the liver and gall bladder.

Holosas syrup for cholecystitis
Cholecystitis is a disease of the gallbladder associated with stagnation of bile in the ducts and body of the bladder, as well as with the formation of stones in the biliary organ. The problem can be caused by a high concentration of bile, which, due to dysfunction or other reasons, stagnates in the body of the bladder and does not come out.
Holosas helps the liver produce more bile so that it does not stagnate in the bladder and promptly exits through the ducts into the lumen of the duodenum to process food.
The less bile produced by the liver, the higher the concentration of its acidity. When bile stagnates, a sediment forms in the gallbladder, which over time turns into sand and then into stones. Taking Holosas eliminates bile stagnation, activates its release, and reduces the risk of stone formation.
Holosas
Kholosas is a choleretic herbal medicine based on a condensed aqueous extract of rose hips. The medicinal properties of this plant have been known since ancient times. And holosas itself is far from being a “boy” and has been used in clinical practice for several decades. Due to its effectiveness, natural origin and favorable safety profile, it still remains in demand, despite the abundance of new, much more complex chemical-synthetic drugs. The therapeutic effect of rose hips is determined, for the most part, by the content in them of a whole “bouquet” of vitamins and biologically active substances. Thanks to this, rosehip preparations activate redox and enzymatic reactions in the body, accelerate tissue restoration, the synthesis of certain hormones, regulate carbohydrate metabolism and vascular permeability, and stimulate the immune system. Holosas was created primarily as a choleretic and hepatoprotective agent. This dark brown syrup has a unique smell and sweet and sour taste that children really like. Despite its simple composition, holosas can be useful for a number of diseases, including hepatitis, cholecystitis (inflammation of the gallbladder), cholangitis (inflammation of the bile ducts). The drug is also used as a general tonic for asthenic conditions, as well as in children whose bodies are weakened by long-term illnesses.
In some clinical trials, Holosas also demonstrated lipid-lowering properties. Due to the lack of interaction with other drugs, the drug can be widely used as part of complex therapy. And the complete absence of any toxicity makes it possible to use holosas for a long time without fear of causing negative side reactions. The drug restores and maintains the normal functioning of liver cells, acts as a preventative against the chronicization of pathological processes in the liver and gallbladder, helps restore the normal outflow of bile, and strengthens the immune system. Numerous clinical trials have confirmed that holosas has anti-inflammatory and diuretic effects. Apart from the “standard” hypersensitivity, the drug has virtually no contraindications. The only thing that should be taken into account is the presence of sugar in holosas, and therefore caution must be exercised when using it in people suffering from diabetes.
As already mentioned, holosas is produced in the form of syrup. It is taken as an infusion prepared in the following proportions: 10 g of syrup per 200 ml of water. A single dose of the drug is 50-100 ml of this infusion (for children - 25-50 ml), the frequency of administration is 2 times a day. The prepared infusion can be stored for no more than 2 days, provided it is placed in a cool place.

Holosas: instructions for use
In order for the syrup to help normalize digestion and active bile production, it should be taken half an hour before meals. This time is enough for vitamin P to be absorbed into the blood and reach the target organ. Many patients undergoing Holosas therapy note that 20-30 minutes after taking the syrup, a feeling of hunger occurs, indicating that the digestive system is ready to digest food.
Children over 12 years of age and adults take 1 teaspoon before the main meal: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Snacks are not considered a full meal, so they should not be accompanied by taking the drug.
Contraindications
The syrup is not prescribed to pregnant women or during breastfeeding. High sugar content can cause dermatitis in infants. And the pronounced choleretic effect will affect the child’s digestion, which was not formed during the first three years of life.
In addition, the syrup is contraindicated for children under 12 years of age. Any disturbance in the functioning of the digestive system of minors should be accompanied by a thorough examination, nutritional correction and supervision by a specialist.
Insulin-dependent patients with diabetes mellitus are also prohibited from taking Holosas due to the high sugar content (at least 60% of the total mass of the product).
The syrup has no effect on driving, visual acuity or reaction speed. Does not contain alcohols.
