Oral drops "Espumizan® L" are used for the following indications:

Mode of application

25 drops - 1 ml of emulsion.

For symptomatic treatment of gastrointestinal complaints associated with gas formation, for example, flatulence, colic in newborns:

• children under one year - 25 drops (1 ml) added to a bottle of baby food at each feeding or given with a small spoon before or after breastfeeding;
• children aged 1-6 years - 25 drops (1 ml) 3-5 times a day;
• children aged 6-14 years - 25-50 drops (1-2 ml) 3-5 times a day;
• children over 14 years of age and adults - 50 drops (2 ml) 3-5 times a day.

As an aid in diagnostic examinations of the abdominal cavity:

Method of use

Espumisan® L should be taken during or after meals, and, if necessary, before bedtime. The drug can also be used in the postoperative period.

Pharmacokinetics

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, intestinal obstruction, hereditary fructose intolerance.

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding

Since simethicone is not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, no negative effects are expected when using the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Children from 1 year to 6 years: 10 drops of Espumisan® baby 3-5 times a day.

Children from 6 to 14 years old: 10-20 drops of Espumisan® baby 3-5 times a day.

Side effect
