To prepare a rehydron solution you will need 1 liter of boiled and cooled water. You only need a liter of water, because... a smaller amount will increase the concentration of the solution, which can provoke hypernatremia. The prepared solution should be used within 24 hours, and all this time it should be stored at a temperature of 2° to 8°C, i.e. in a refrigerator. The solution must be pristine: adding any other components may interfere with the effect of the drug. Before treatment, it is necessary to assess the overall weight loss and the degree of dehydration. To avoid severe dehydration, it is recommended to start taking the drug at the first signs of diarrhea. As a rule, rehydron is used for 3-4 days.
