The properties of Traumeel S are due to the activity of its constituents in homeopathic dilutions: arnica, calendula, witch hazel, yarrow, belladonna, aconite, comfrey, chamomile, daisy, St. John's wort, echinacea, Hahnemann's soluble mercury, liver sulfur.
The tablets contain as auxiliary components: lactose and Mg stearate; in solution - water and sodium chloride; in the ointment - 96% ethyl and cetostearyl alcohol, liquid and solid paraffin, purified water.
All dosage forms of the drug are manufactured in accordance with the guidelines of the HAB (Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of Germany).

Contraindications
Contraindications common to all dosage forms of the drug are a history of allergies to any of its constituent components, as well as serious systemic diseases:
- multiple sclerosis;
- leukemia;
- tuberculosis;
- collagenosis;
- any autoimmune disorder (including AIDS / HIV infection).
Tablets are also not prescribed for lactase deficiency , hypolactasia , glucose/galactose malabsorption syndrome . Drops should be used with caution in patients suffering from alcoholism or brain diseases, having liver pathologies , or having suffered a TBI.
The solution is contraindicated in patients with impaired renal function , pregnant/breastfeeding women, infants and children under three years of age.
Side effects

- children under one year old - 1 teaspoon;
- children from one to 6 years old - 2 teaspoons;
- children from 6 to 12 years old - 3 teaspoons (the remaining medicine can be stored in a light-protected place at room temperature for no more than a day).
A single dose should be taken 3 times a day. an hour after or 20 minutes before a meal.
In case of acute onset of the disease, it is recommended to take one tablet every 15 minutes during the first two hours. In the future, they switch to three doses a day.
The course lasts from 2 to 4 weeks.
Traumeel S injections: instructions for use
A single dose of solution for patients over 12 years of age is 2.2 ml (contents of one ampoule). Infants (under the age of one year) are administered the medicine at 0.4 ml, patients 1-3 years old - 0.6 ml, patients 3-6 years old - 1 ml, patients 6-12 years old - 1.5 ml.
The indicated age dose should be used 1-3 times/week. For adults - in the form of intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal, and, if necessary, intravenous (the drug is administered in a stream), peri- and intra-articular injections.
The solution can also be injected into acupuncture points or taken orally. Oral administration is considered preferable for children. An age-specific single dose of the medicine is diluted in 1-2 teaspoons of water, dripped into the child’s mouth or given to drink (the solution must be held in the mouth for several seconds before swallowing).
The duration of the course is from 2 weeks to a month.
Traumeel S ointment: instructions for use
The ointment (cream) is applied to the inflamed or injured area of the body 2-3 rubles/day, for acute injuries - up to 6 rubles/day. The drug can be rubbed into the skin with light movements, applied under a bandage or administered with phonophoresis.
Even areas of the skin with minor damage are treated with ointment. A prerequisite in this case is the absence of the development of wound infection.
Treatment is continued for 2-4 weeks.
Gel Traumeel, instructions for use
The gel is applied to the injured area of the body in the morning and evening or, if necessary, more often. A 1 cm long strip of gel is usually sufficient to cover an area of 10 cm2.

The solution for oral use is taken from 1 to 3 times a day, 5 drops. If the onset of the disease is acute, the medicine is taken every 30 minutes to an hour, then switched to three times a day in a standard dose.

Homeopathic drops for oral administration. Orally, 15 minutes before meals, 10 drops (pre-diluted in 1 teaspoon of water and kept in the mouth for 1-2 minutes before swallowing) 3 times a day, for swelling of soft tissues - 30 drops 3 times a day. Homeopathic solution for intramuscular and periarticular administration. IM, periarticular: 1–2 amp. 1–3 times a week. The course of treatment is 4–5 weeks. The frequency of use and duration of the course are prescribed by the doctor.
Note: it is recommended to take several dosage forms of the drug simultaneously (for example, tablets or drops along with ointment and injections).
